Advice For A Successful 4 Years of Marriage

Hubby & I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday (Sept. 8th).  I  was still am sick with a gross cold but it was nice none the less.  We had a romantic dinner at home of chicken soup :)

My top tip for making it thus far in marital bliss would have to be, no question...

1. ear plugs.

No one's happy when they don't have a good night's sleep and greeting your partner as a cranky pants (or being greeted by your crankypants partner) every morning due to lack of sleep from weird breathing noises or snoring is not a recipe for success.  Sleep well,  in blissful silence, not begrudging every little noise they make and when you wake up enjoy each other's company.

  1. Congratulations on your four years!!

Good advice. Very good advice. I'd like to add that sometimes it's sensible to leave the ear plugs in all day!!
